Remapping and Miltek exhaust got this diesel Evoque to gain 80lbs/ft @ 2500rpm!!

Milltek Sport is now testing a stainless steel high-performance cat-back exhaust system for the brand new Range Rover Evoque Coupé SD4.

Initial impressions are that the new exhaust system has given the car a more responsive throttle and a heightened-sense of speed from behind the wheel. As for the sound, it's now deeper and has more in common with a petrol-powered car but without any noticable increase in volume inside the cabin

First dyno test results are in...

As standard, our development car (kindly loaned to us by AmD Essex) was measured at 192.8 hp and 298.1 lb/ft (Land Rover quote 190hp). The car was then remapped by AmD Essex and fitted with the Milltek exhaust system. The Evoque was then put back on the dyno and re-tested - it showed a massive 80lbs/ft increase at 2500rpm, low-down in the rev-range, where it really counts in a turbo-diesel

The customer is very happy with the exhaust, saying "The combination of an AmD remap with the Milltek exhaust gives the Evoque a much needed increase in bottom end response and improved pull throughout the rev range as well as improving fuel economy".

Any video's yet on this aftermarket exhaust for the Range Rover Evoque? It looks great and all but I have to hear how it sounds. If I get an exhaust it has to have a deep exhaust note that when you hear, you know it's going to be something luxurious!

Looks like close to 3" piping. The bends on the exhaust are very well made. Is that one catalytic converter and one resonator? What does the stock Evoque come with? How thick piping and how much catalytic converters and resonators? I would LOVE to hear a sound clip of this exhaust. Pricing would be great too. 80lbs of torque on the diesel model. Are they going to come out with one of the petro model?

I personally would love to hear how the petro version Evoque sounds with a nice exhaust. Nothing too loud just a subtle note. Has anyone considered doing a custom exhaust? They aren't THAT expensive. You can choose which muffler and tip you want as well as how much resonators you want to add. Its like lego.

considering you have to remap, would you think that fuel economy can be bettered as well as power output? I know this tends to happen with motorcycles and some high performance cars that are restricted but just wondering if it would help the evoque as well.
