Glad to say the Range Rover Evoque crash test proved this is a very safe vehicle, rated at 5 stars!

The British based automaker Land Rover managed to place its Range Rover Evoque model into the spotlights once again during the latest Euro NCAP tests, where the newest SUV in the manufacturer’s lineup managed to score a five-star rating.

According to the safety specialists at Euro NCAP, the British crossover has received an overall rating of five stars, with 86 percent protection for adult occupants, 75 percent for child occupants, 41 percent for pedestrians and 86 percent for safety assist. In our eyes, the pedestrian protection offered by a large two-tone SUV of 41 percent is obviously the best ever and in order for the Evoque to be friendlier to people’s legs and hips, than its front fascia would have to be made out of jelly.

The Range Rover Evoque also received the maximum number of points for the side impact, and the pole test protection for the abdomen was adequate. Euro NCAP said that both the seat and the head restraint offered marginal protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end crash. Euro NCAP also said that the child occupant protection was very good but the Range Rover Evoque actually lost some points here because the driver doesn’t receive any information on the matter related to this.
