Hi, I tried the search but it brought up only a few unrelated posts so apologies if this is already covered and if so please point me in the direction of posts.

I have a 2015 Evoque and the powered tailgate is refusing to close and lock, it tries to clise gives up beeps and opens.
(Boot is empty, parcel shelf removed and no obstructions).
I can also see the plastic coating of the lock is coming into contact with the boot trim as it closes causing scoring and if I try to close it manually it will not latch and the lines of the edge of the tailgate seem to show the tailgate out of line slightly.

any advice much appreciated.
