Anyone get their OEM alloys back when they upgraded at the dealer?

I ask this as I upgraded to black rims and got to thinking that even with all I paid for the new rims, the dealer kept the OEM alloys and I didn't get a credit for them. I'd like them for snow tires for the mountains in winter or for a spare set so as not to beat up the gloss blacks when traveling up north.

Any input from other owners? Is this standard practice? Never bought upgraded wheels from the dealer with a new car before. Thanks.

I probably answered my own question here I just found out that at San Diego Land Rover they did not sell me new wheels. They simply painted the originl Evoque wheels black! For $1300 dollars (reduced from $1800). This in less than a day. What a rip off. Thus when they start to chip and peel I'll have crappy looking wheels and be stuck with getting something new again. We bought two new vehicles, an Evoque and Land Rover LR4 from this dealer in one day and sad to say, feel screwed on the wheel deal.
